As a Senior Parent Support Advisor, you will work closely with families to develop and enhance parenting skills, delivering evidence-based parenting programs and completing assessments using the Early Help Framework and Signs of Safety model. Responsibilities: * Undertake whole family assessments to ensure a high standard of service to families, including securing the services of other agencies. * Review action plans regularly and coordinate activity to ensure agreed tasks are identified and goals reached in a timely manner. * Work in partnership with social workers to effectively step down cases to the Early Help Service, reducing social care case loads. * Attend case conferences and Court as required. Requirements: * Significant experience of direct work with children, young people, and their families in the family home or in the community. * Experience of working effectively in cooperation and partnership with a range of communities, partner agencies, private sector bodies, public agencies, voluntary bodies, and statutory agencies appropriate to the service area. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work assertively to achieve sustainable and positive change. * Ability to keep accurate records, organize, plan, and coordinate work, and proficient use of IT systems.
