Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Event Technology Sales, with a strong understanding of the industry and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outbound Sales: Build and manage a sales pipeline by active prospecting, identifying suitable opportunities through online research, and conducting outreach via email and phone.
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Quotas: Meet individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, striving to exceed them consistently.
  • Product Demonstrations and Support: Provide presentations, product demonstrations, and general support to prospective customers, showcasing the value of vFairs' Event Management platform.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with prospects, preparing proposals and contracts to secure new business.
  • Customer Interaction and Transactional Information: Manage and track customer interaction and transactional information in Hubspot (our CRM).
  • Consultative Approach: Use a consultative approach to assess prospect pain points, demo vFairs' Event Management platform, propose the right vFairs solution, and obtain commitment.
  • Industry and Competitive Landscape Knowledge: Understand and keep up-to-date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Long-term View: Have a long-term view and approach into clients by setting up upsell and renewal opportunities.
Requirements
  • Event Tech Industry Experience: Preferred experience in the Event Technology industry.
  • B2B SaaS Sales Experience: Minimum of two years of B2B SaaS sales experience required.
  • Active Outbound Prospecting: Minimum of one year with active outbound prospecting.
  • Fluency in English: Must be fluent in English.
  • Sales Experience in Event Professionals: Experience in selling SaaS or Technology Sales into Event Professionals, Non-Profits, Fortune 1,000 companies is a plus.
  • Self-Disciplined and Self-Motivated: Self-Disciplined and Self-Motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a great phone personality and phone voice.
  • Great Listening Skills: Great listening skills and a desire to learn proper consultative selling techniques.
  • High-Energy and Positive Attitude: High-energy and positive attitude, with a strong ability to multitask while maintaining a high quality of work.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn and apply new information in customer-facing scenarios.
  • Confidence to Overcome Objections: Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified leads.
  • Lead Generation and Sales Development Experience: Lead generation, cold calling, objection handling, and sales development experience is a must.
