Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our growing sales team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Event Technology Sales, with a strong understanding of the industry and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outbound Sales: Build and manage a sales pipeline by active prospecting, identifying suitable opportunities through online research and conducting outreach via email and phone.
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Quotas: Meet individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, striving to exceed them consistently.
  • Product Demonstrations and Support: Provide presentations, product demonstrations, and general support to prospective customers, showcasing the value of vFairs' Event Management platform.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and manage relationships with prospects, preparing proposals and contracts to secure new business.
  • Customer Interaction and Transactional Information: Manage and track customer interaction and transactional information in Hubspot (our CRM), ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Consultative Approach: Use a consultative approach to assess prospect pain points, demo vFairs' Event Management platform, propose the right vFairs solution, and obtain commitment.
  • Industry and Competitive Landscape Knowledge: Understand and keep up-to-date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge, staying ahead of the curve in the Event Technology sector.
  • Long-term View: Adopt a long-term view and approach into clients, setting up upsell and renewal opportunities to drive continued growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Event Tech Industry Experience: Preferred experience in the Event Technology industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's trends and challenges.
  • B2B SaaS Sales Experience: Minimum of two years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Active Outbound Prospecting: Minimum of one year of active outbound prospecting experience, with a strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Fluency in English: Must be fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales Experience in Event Professionals, Non-Profits, Fortune 1,000 Companies: Experience in selling SaaS or Technology Sales into Event Professionals, Non-Profits, Fortune 1,000 companies is a plus.
  • Self-Disciplined and Self-Motivated: Self-disciplined and self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions.
  • Great Phone Personality and Phone Voice: Great phone personality and phone voice, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
