About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Deputy Manager to join our team at The Works. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, improving customer experience, and developing our team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume store leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and achieving commercial targets.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets, manage stock levels, and maintain store standards.
  • Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential, providing regular feedback and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth and profitability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Retail Deputy Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of driving sales growth and improving customer experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of retail operations and customer behavior.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
