A reputable Accountancy practice located in Stockport is looking to hire a skilled Accounts Administrator or Bookkeeper to become part of their dynamic team. This firm offers a comprehensive suite of general practice services along with specialized business solutions such as corporate finance, tax consultancy, payroll management, trust services, and digital transformation initiatives. They cater to a diverse clientele across the North West, ranging from small owner-managed businesses to large international corporations. Their clients span various sectors, including entrepreneurship, manufacturing, lifestyle, technology, and media. The firm is currently experiencing a significant growth phase and has recently relocated to a contemporary office environment.


Your Responsibilities
In the role of Accounts Administrator, you will be tasked with preparing financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. Your responsibilities will include bookkeeping functions and assisting with VAT submissions, as well as overall accounts preparation. You will play a vital role in managing the firm's client relationships and will gain exposure to various facets of accountancy, including audit processes and VAT compliance. You will serve as a primary contact for clients, addressing their general inquiries.


Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in managing accounts for a variety of clients and demonstrate strong IT proficiency, particularly with accounting software. Candidates should ideally be AAT qualified or pursuing ACCA certification, or have a robust background in bookkeeping or accounting practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their professional experience.


Compensation and Benefits
In return for your expertise, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £23,000 to £27,000, commensurate with experience.
