Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our residential care team at Aspris Children's Services. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our young people and providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our young people in their daily lives, including helping with morning and night-time routines, assisting with daily tasks, and accompanying them to activities.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to our young people, helping them to build resilience and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible care and support for our young people.
  • Update care plans and report information relevant to the care of our young people.

Requirements

  • Resilience and ability to work with vulnerable children who may have emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with our young people and other staff members.
  • Organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Caring and compassionate nature, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our young people.
