Key Responsibilities- Source and register new business partners onto our platform, highlighting the benefits and value proposition of our services.
- Proactively identify and target new business opportunities, developing a hitlist of potential partners and firms to engage with.
- Continuously hunt, source, and register new business partners, while developing and nurturing existing relationships.
- Maintain regular contact with all business partners, communicating effectively through various channels and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Work closely with our office-based team to establish a process for contacting individual business partners and enhancing the value of our proposition.
- Strategically identify key actions to develop individual business partners and firms.
- Manage your own diary to balance prospecting, retention, and development of all accounts, achieving targets set across all business platforms.
- Assist business partners with ongoing cases, liaising with our fee earners to gain updates and taking further action as required.
- Assist business partners with the placement of new matters, answering queries, and guiding them to the correct business partner.
- Attend regular review meetings with all key business partners.
- Use data and metrics to monitor performance, identify areas for development, and set targets and expectations.
- Create a monthly working plan to ensure all areas of business are covered.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, although not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and negotiate.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- An understanding of the business and market landscape, including industry trends and regulations, although not essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
