During your training, you will spend the majority of your time at Brett Martin, complemented by dedicated learning days at a specialized training facility where you will earn recognized qualifications in advanced manufacturing and polymer operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of production materials to machinery in accordance with established specifications.
- Learn to configure, initiate, and manage production machinery and auxiliary equipment under guidance.
- Comprehend and uphold the production workflow to meet required quality benchmarks.
- Support the verification that finished goods align with set standards and specifications.
- Gain knowledge in addressing non-conforming materials, processes, and products in line with company protocols.
- Promote and maintain exemplary standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization within the workplace.
- Engage in safety training and apply learned safety practices diligently.
- Accurately complete production output documentation and report any issues related to waste or downtime.
- Actively participate in all training modules covering Health & Safety, Polymer Science, Material Properties, Processing Techniques, and Polymer Engineering.
- Engage in ongoing learning and improvement initiatives to develop a thorough understanding of polymer processes and practices.
