About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Goldmills Group. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the safe food production and delivery of events from purchase to serving in conjunction with senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of food for events, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Manage food stock control systems to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
  • Supervise and train junior chefs to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure all food is packed and labeled correctly for events, using the company's food stock control system.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to achieve business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Culinary Manager in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food safety policies and procedures, including HACCP and allergen training.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • First aid at work certification.
