Position Overview

Inplace Personnel Services Ltd is currently in search of a skilled and knowledgeable CNC Operator specializing in both Milling and Turning operations. This role is essential for our clients who operate a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Completion of a recognized Apprenticeship with valid proof of certification.
Preferred Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:

  • Expertise in operating both Milling and Turning machinery.
  • Strong familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens control systems.
  • Demonstrated experience through vocational training and apprenticeship.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous, though backgrounds in automotive, manufacturing, or tool making are also beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Multi Manning Equipment is preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Work Schedule

The machining department operates on a Monday to Friday schedule with a 3-shift rotation:

  • Mornings: 06:00 - 14:12
  • Afternoons: 13:40 - 21:30 (with a Friday finish at 19:00)
  • Nights: 21:00 - 06:15 (4 shifts from Monday to Thursday)
Responsibilities

All operators are expected to:

  • Conduct basic first principle measurements.
  • Uphold the 5S standard within the cell.
  • Ensure proper collaboration of gauges and equipment.
  • Manage the efficient allocation of consumables and materials.
Contract Details

This position offers a contract covering 38 hours per week, with the potential for a Temp to Perm transition for the right candidate following an initial qualifying period.
