CNC Operator Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at James Kirby Associates Ltd. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC Lathes to machine small precision parts according to specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Operating CNC Lathes to machine small precision parts according to specifications
* Monitoring machine operations to ensure proper functioning and making adjustments as necessary
* Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments
* Being organized and methodical with the ability to multi-task
* Working cleanly, tidily, and considerately of co-workers
* Ensuring consistent quality
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Working Conditions**

* 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, 2pm-11:30pm (permanent late shift)
* Plenty of overtime paid at x1.5
* Training and development opportunities

**Requirements**

* Experience operating CNC Lathes
* Good understanding of engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances
