CNC Operator Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at James Kirby Associates Ltd. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC Lathes and machining small precision parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC Lathes to machine small precision parts according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments.
  • Be organized and methodical with the ability to multi-task.
  • Work cleanly, tidily, and considerately of coworkers.
  • Ensure consistent quality.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating CNC Lathes.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.
  • 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, 2pm-11:30pm (permanent late shift).
