We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at James Kirby Associates Ltd. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC Lathes and machining small precision parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Lathes to machine small precision parts according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments.
- Be organized and methodical with the ability to multi-task.
- Work cleanly, tidily, and considerately of coworkers.
- Ensure consistent quality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Experience operating CNC Lathes.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.
- 4-day week, Monday to Thursday, 2pm-11:30pm (permanent late shift).
