Overview: Our client, a prominent player in the Fintech sector, is on the lookout for a Business Systems Analyst to enhance their team on a permanent basis.

Role Summary: The ideal candidate will engage in essential Business Analysis functions, which encompass requirements gathering, facilitating workshops, and mapping processes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and contribute to project delivery within designated project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide precise estimates for all analytical tasks to aid in projecting project costs and timelines.
  • Execute analysis tasks adhering to the budget, schedule, and quality standards of the relevant development project or maintenance release throughout the entire lifecycle, including the post-release warranty phase.
  • Collect and document business requirements—both general (pertaining to business policies, standards, and needs) and technical (related to technical policies and constraints)—and convert them into comprehensive business, functional, and operational requirements.
  • Evaluate, enhance, and maintain existing business analysis artifacts and processes (such as models, diagrams, interface specifications, and documentation) or create these artifacts if they are not already in place.
  • Gather and assess existing requirements, evaluate the status of deliverables through information collection and gap analysis, and identify new or improved requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project/program manager and the Head of Business Analysis to participate in and uphold the Change Management/Change Control Process.

Candidate Profile:
To excel in this position, candidates should ideally possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a comparable environment.
  • A solid understanding of web technologies, including UI/UX principles and best practices, database configuration, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in translating intricate business requirements (both general and technical) into high-quality functional and non-functional requirements that the proposed solution must fulfill.
  • Experience in gathering requirements and leading workshops.
  • The capability to manage stakeholders across all levels.
  • Background in Financial Services, preferably within the pensions sector.

This position offers remote work flexibility with occasional office attendance as necessary. The role includes a competitive benefits package, featuring an 11% non-contributory pension scheme and a 3.5% benefits pot allowance, along with a bonus structure.
