Main Job Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Digital Transformation team, you will play a critical role in driving business process improvements and implementing operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of operational work order systems across oilandgas, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement, project planning, and process reengineering.
  • Develop and document business requirements over the short, medium, and longer term, working closely with End Users, Key users, and Process Owners to ensure functionality and configuration meet evolving business needs.
  • Consult through lesson learned sessions to ensure that systems meet business requirements, and adapt flexibly to meet operational demand.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and deliver training, materials, support, and advice to key users to enhance their experience within the systems suite and improve data analytics.
  • Maintain confidentiality with sensitive data/information and support other Digital Analysts and leads during resource-intensive project phases.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Document the project operating model, principles, and process maps that form the basis of solution requirements for each project.
  • Agree solution architecture & configurations to be used on each project, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee development of any systems modifications & testing, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop Project level key users to support implementation and go-live, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Hands-on implementation and training of the project systems suite, ensuring successful adoption and utilization.
  • Experience of ICT systems, technical development, testing, and system implementation, with a strong understanding of GDPR and good practice of complex data management.
  • Demonstrable ability to thrive in a complex, rapidly changing, and demanding business environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving business value.

Requirements:

  • Experience of configuration of operation / maintenance systems, with a strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience of working within the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's unique challenges and opportunities.
