Senior Business Analyst (ViewPoint Expert)

Vistra is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Operations Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the ViewPoint system landscape within Vistra.

About the Role

The Senior Business Analyst will serve as the link between technology and the wider business, ensuring seamless integration and alignment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting end-to-end quality and timely business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders in business and IT for requirement gathering, solution design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Business Analysis: Conducting comprehensive business analysis, identifying root causes, dependencies, and blockers, and developing detailed impact analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, ensuring alignment, and managing prioritization and expectations.
  • Translate business requirements to system requirements in an AGILE environment for IT development.
  • Support Quality Acceptance process and drive User Acceptance Testing with end users and IT.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to adapt language and communication style to suit the intended recipient.
  • Planning and Organization: Effective planning and organizational skills to manage competing time and priorities.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field or comparable working experience.
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications in Business analytics.
