Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated CMF Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating category-leading CMF designs from concept to production. Your expertise will drive the development of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, style, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CMF design strategies that align with our brand values and product vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Source and maintain a comprehensive library of inspirational materials and finishes.
  • Lead ideation and development of colours, materials, and finishes to realize CMF design narratives.
  • Grow the CMF function at Telementum Global and discover new resources for materials to enhance innovation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Purchasing, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and Project Teams.
  • Guide project teams and customers through the design process, from identifying opportunities to crafting end-to-end solutions.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and work sessions with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support new business efforts and shape proposal approaches with the business development team.
  • Liaise with partner manufacturers to ensure that Telementum Global brand values are maintained while expanding the product portfolio.
Requirements
  • Professional CMF experience and a degree in Textile Design, Colour and Material Design, Product or Industrial Design, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a superior colour vision and eye for detail.
  • Ability to travel if required and proficiency in software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, KeyShot, and Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of current market trends and ability to adapt/develop products to meet those needs.
  • Articulate strategic intent and create supporting presentation materials.
