Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee significant construction initiatives within our Eastern Construction Build Team.
Location: Suffolk
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of a major MOD project, responsible for:
- Overseeing project finances, including revenue, costs, and cash flow management.
- Facilitating operational communications and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and governmental bodies.
- Delivering regular, precise, and consolidated reports and forecasts to area management, Kier Group, and stakeholders.
- Ensuring contract fulfillment is achieved safely, punctually, and to the required quality standards while maximizing gross margin and client satisfaction. This includes adherence to Kier Group's policies, procedures, and best practices in project implementation and site management.
Candidate Profile:
This role is ideal for candidates who possess:
- Extensive experience leading high-value projects from pre-construction through to delivery and handover.
- Proven track record in managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of project delivery under NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
- Proficiency in IT tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with ASTA Power Project or Microsoft Project.
- Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid.
