We are seeking a Lead Construction Project Manager to become a vital part of our esteemed Build Team at Kier Group.

Position Type: Full Time, Permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Construction Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of a significant DFE Project, overseeing all aspects of project execution.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Overseeing the financial management (including revenue, expenses, and cash flow) of projects.
  • Facilitating effective operational communication and nurturing relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Delivering consistent, precise, and consolidated reports and forecasts to area management, Kier Group, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring project delivery is safe, timely, and meets quality standards while maximizing gross margin and client satisfaction. This includes adhering to Kier Group's policies, procedures, and best practices in project implementation and site management.

Candidate Profile:

This position is ideal for you if you possess:

  • Extensive experience leading high-value projects from pre-construction phases through to completion and handover.
  • Proven track record in managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of project delivery under NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
  • Proficiency in IT tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email, along with experience in using ASTA PowerProject or Microsoft Project.
  • Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid.
