About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Eastern Construction Build Team at Kier Group.

This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in project management, with a focus on delivering large-scale construction projects safely, on time, and to the required quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Financial Management: Manage project finances, including revenue, costs, and cash flow, to ensure maximum gross margin and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Communications: Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular, accurate, and consolidated reports and forecasts to area management, Kier Group, and customers.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with Kier Group's policies, procedures, and best practices relating to project implementation and site management.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Significant experience in leading projects of significant value from pre-construction through delivery to handover.
  • Financial Management: Demonstrable experience of managing project budgets and programmes.
  • Contract Knowledge: Expert knowledge of delivery under NEC and JCT contract conditions.
  • IT Literacy: Proficiency in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Email, as well as experience with ASTA Power Project or Microsoft Project.
  • Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certifications.
