Job Summary:

Berry Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Legal Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

About the Role:

The Head of Legal Practice will be responsible for leading a team of legal professionals and overseeing the delivery of high-quality legal services to our clients. This will involve implementing and monitoring compliance processes and systems, supervising legal transactions, and managing a practice's complaints-handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Implement and monitor compliance processes and systems to ensure that the organization is in line with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain and develop relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders, ensuring the organization's reputation for excellence and personalized service is upheld.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development and networking activities to drive the strategic growth of the department.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • Conveyancing Experience: A proven track record of handling complex residential property transactions with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.
  • Asset Protection Trust Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Asset Protection Trust / Lifetime Discretionary Trust.
