Job Title: Compliance Manager

About the Role:

AJ FOX COMPLIANCE is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team in Oxford. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring our firm's compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AML/KYC Expertise: Provide guidance on customer due diligence (CDD) requirements, standard operating procedures (SOWs/SOFs), and background checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Onboarding: Manage client onboarding software and review incoming reports to ensure accurate and timely onboarding of new clients.
  • Matter Inception: Manage client/matter inception processes, respond to queries, and identify opportunities for improvement to ensure seamless onboarding and management of client matters.
  • Training and Development: Deliver firm-wide training on AML/CDD and customer identification and verification (CIV) best practices to ensure all staff are equipped to meet regulatory requirements.
  • AML Risk Assessments: Assist in AML and file opening risk assessments, along with conflicts of interest checks, to ensure the firm's risk profile is accurately assessed and managed.
  • Sanctions and PEPs: Advise on Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and sanctions to ensure the firm's compliance with regulatory requirements.
