About the Role:

The Orders of St John Care Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in the management of the care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, including rota planning and employee recruitment and training.
  • Monitor and manage individual employee performance to ensure high standards are upheld.
  • Assess and meet the needs of our residents, ensuring their care and well-being are prioritized.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and a willingness to work towards Level 4 or 5.
  • Previous management experience in an elderly care setting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
