Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our team at Cogges Surgery. As a key member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring we meet regulatory requirements and deliver a safe and effective service to our patients.

Main Responsibilities

The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and facilitating all building and premises maintenance, including weekly, quarterly, and annual assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Developing and maintaining the policy database, ensuring awareness and access across the practice.
  • Maintaining delegated areas of the practice database in respect of compliance documentation to ensure HR and CQC requirements are met.
  • Coordinating practice audit schedules to ensure compliance with clinical and quality standards, including monitoring and completion of associated actions.
  • Supporting the delivery of vaccination campaigns to ensure maximum uptake for our patient population.
  • Disseminating safety alerts to all relevant parties within the practice.
  • Procuring all agreed clinical and non-clinical supplies, ensuring quality and value for money.
  • Maintaining and overseeing mandatory training requirements for all staff members, escalating non-compliance where necessary.
  • Providing administrative support to the Practice Manager as needed.

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A desire to learn and use their own initiative.
  • Experience of maintaining a database or using IT systems.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • GCSE grade 5-9 / A-C in English and Maths.
  • Experience of working in General Practice.
