Supply Chain Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Meridian Business Support. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. They will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies to meet business needs
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
- Managing the purchasing process from start to finish, including requisitioning, ordering, and receiving goods
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They will also have a strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain principles, with a focus on cost savings and efficiency.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with a salary in the range of £34,000-£38,000.
