About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at We Are With You. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse, providing guidance, and helping them achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans with clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide emotional support, guidance, and resources to help clients overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery.
  • Collaborate with other social care services and partner agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and update client plans as needed.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the service.
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting, preferably with individuals struggling with substance misuse.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Resilience under pressure, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience working with individuals who misuse substances.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including assessing clients in high-risk situations.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable).
