About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at With You. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients to help them achieve their recovery goals.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and social care services to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate records of client progress.
  • Provide education and support to clients on healthy coping mechanisms and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service improvements.
Requirements
  • ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a related field.
  • Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting.
  • Knowledge of substance misuse and mental health issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience working with individuals who misuse substances.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including assessing clients in high-risk situations.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
