Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our Bluewater boutique. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the store, staff, merchandise, and customer service, ensuring the highest standards of operational and merchandising excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Profit and Sales Generation:

  • Meet sales goals and objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Analyse sales reports and data to inform business strategies and drive results.
  • Set individual sales goals for Fragrance Consultants, ensuring alignment with store business objectives.
  • Motivate and develop the sales team, ensuring they meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
  • Support the development of Fragrance Consultants' product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating sales leadership and playing an active role on the selling floor.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure all Fragrance Consultants provide exceptional customer service, meeting the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Maintain constant client communication, utilising client books and databases to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage client relationships, resolving issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Empower Fragrance Consultants to make decisions in the customer's best interest, supporting the Company's philosophy.

Operations:

  • Ensure staffing levels and work schedules meet business needs, maintaining optimal floor coverage.
  • Manage risk, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management, ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver team member training in register usage and maintenance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in bi-annual inventories, ensuring accurate stock levels and optimal inventory management.

Merchandising/Visual:

  • Implement merchandising directives, ensuring effective execution of visual strategies and displays.
  • Partner with operations, logistics, and product teams to ensure optimal assortment and visual presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing selling floor, reflecting the Company's visual direction.

Human Resources:

  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, ensuring all positions are filled with the right candidate.
  • Implement and follow-up on training programs, seminars, and development initiatives for Fragrance Consultants.
  • Evaluate team member performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive results.
