We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Service Administrator to join our team at Surrey Downs Health & Care. As a key member of our Community Services Division, you will provide administrative support to our clinicians and teams, ensuring the smooth running of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality administrative support to clinicians, team leaders, and clinical managers across services within the Community Services division.
- Work within the Single Point of Access to deliver an efficient and cost-effective administrative service.
- Respond to patient and referrer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage patient referrals, including taking receipt of referrals, inputting information into the electronic patient record, and allocating referrals appropriately.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with clinical colleagues to ensure effective processing of referrals and patient information.
- Provide accurate written confirmation of appointments to patients.
- Administer processes to collate satisfaction feedback from patients and referrers.
- Ensure divisional service needs are met through the delivery of a cohesive administration service.
- Maintain the integrity of patient data on the electronic patient record.
- Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence from internal and external agencies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the review and evaluation of administrative systems and procedures.
