Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) - Leadership Opportunity

**About the Role**

Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our dynamic team at a leading mental health facility in Nottinghamshire. As a Senior RMN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Team Leadership**: Supervise a team of mental health professionals and contribute to their professional development, including training and appraisals.
  • **Patient Care**: Monitor and review patient care plans, evaluating and responding to changes in patient conditions and needs.
  • **Therapeutic Relationships**: Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients to enhance engagement and promote positive outcomes.
  • **Shift Leadership**: Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and junior team members to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • **Professional Development**: Adhere to all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation while promoting ethical practice and continuous professional development.

**Requirements**

  • A valid nursing qualification and NMC registration.
  • Strong teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a flexible approach to working hours.
  • A commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
  • A drive for continuous professional development.
