Key Responsibilities- Lead the nursing team in providing comprehensive care to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Act as a role model and mentor, providing support and guidance to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans.
- Administer medication and monitor the effects, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
- Utilize therapeutic communication techniques to engage with patients and support their mental health recovery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and contribute to the assessment and evaluation of care delivery.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and valid UK NMC Pin.
- Proven experience working in a mental health setting, ideally within an Acute or PICU environment.
- Strong understanding of mental health conditions and their impact on individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating leadership and clinical expertise.
