Service Sales Manager

At Vertiv, we are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager to join our team in Southampton, UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the Thermal & Generator Remedial teams and providing strategic direction to deliver the company's sales strategy successfully in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve set targets and drive business growth.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Collaborate with other department leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their sales skills and knowledge.
- Ensure standardized and consistent quote and project documentation is used to maintain efficiency.
- Proven sales experience in the thermal and generator market.
- Strong understanding of business critical applications and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Decisive nature and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and proven track record of managing others.
- Computer literate and self-disciplined with a motivated attitude.
- Providing Customer Service: You put customers first in everything you do both internally and externally, to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: You negotiate adeptly with individuals and groups and are effective at managing conflict and confrontations skillfully.
- Taking Risk and Innovating, Entrepreneurial Spirit: You act decisively to attack difficult problems and look for new tools and processes to deliver new approaches or products.
- Demonstrating Ethics and Integrity: You act in accordance with stated values and follow through on promises.
50% travel required.
