Our 12-Month Graduate Programme

As a Graduate Electronics Engineer at Leonardo, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that designs and develops cutting-edge electronic systems for defence and aerospace applications. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support the design and development of our world-leading electro-optical, communications, and information system products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and development of electronic systems, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, test, and acceptance.
  • Interface with customers and engineers from other disciplines to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
  • Design, document, build, and test electronics circuits and firmware designs.
  • Develop expertise in the design of circuits, FPGAs, and subsystems at various stages in the product lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, with a strong foundation in digital design, analogue design, and signal processing.
  • Experience with PCB design and simulation tools.
  • Passion for solving complex engineering problems and drive to learn the skills required to become a professional Electronics Engineer.
  • Ability to work as a contributory engineering team member and manage own development towards attaining Electronics Engineer level through the Graduate Development Programme.
