About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse or Midwife to join our Renal Services team at Wigan Kidney Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with renal conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate programmes of care for patients with renal conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the renal team to provide comprehensive care, including haemodialysis and renal ward care
  • Develop and implement education and training programmes for learners and unregistered staff
  • Contribute to the management and organisation of work, ensuring effective communication and teamwork
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife
  • Post-registration renal experience, preferably in haemodialysis
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
