Job Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist care to patients with breast disease, working closely with oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist breast care services to patients in the hospital and community setting.
  • Manage and organize your own caseload, working closely with the lead Specialist Breast Care Nurse.
  • Develop and deliver education and training programs for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to breast disease management.

Person Specification:

  • First-level registered nurse with a degree in a health-related subject or willingness to work towards.
  • ENB A11 or equivalent specialist qualification or willingness to work towards.
  • Teaching qualification or mentorship course or equivalent experience.
  • Significant post-registration experience within the clinical specialty of breast care.
