Job Title: Operations Team Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our Operations Team as an Operations Team Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our open water swimming holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the coordination and forward planning of equipment logistics, guide travel and postage arrangements, and ensure all trip documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Coordinating Travel: Support our international team of guiding staff, manage travel arrangements, and troubleshoot travel complications for active departures and returns.
  • Health and Safety: Organize location health and safety paperwork, conduct audits, and coordinate and revise location-based Risk Assessments.
  • Location Support: Provide proactive support in complaint handling and troubleshooting, and assist the Operations team in handling incidents.
  • Financial and Commercial: Purchase and order equipment within budget, check and track contractors' invoices and payments, and coordinate and authorize guide invoices and expenses.
Requirements:
  • A proactive and organized individual with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to use initiative and work independently as required.
  • A team player, able to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Able to complete administrative and financial processes accurately.
  • Friendly and enthusiastic, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Hold a current Beach Lifeguard qualification.
  • First Aid at Work Qualification.
  • Hold or be able to hold an RYA Powerboat Level 2 Qualification and International Certificate of Competency.
  • Open water swimming experience.
  • Experience working in a water safety capacity.
