Overview

Our Railway Operations Coordinators are tasked with ensuring a swift and effective response to all real-time railway operations and frontline activities.

Role Responsibilities

In this vital frontline position, you will be accountable for providing prompt and efficient responses to any incidents or accidents occurring within a designated railway section. Your contributions will be significant, aiding in the resolution of issues. Through thorough investigation and documentation, you will also help us gain insights into preventing similar occurrences in the future.

Occasionally, you may be called upon to support your team in the capacity of Rail Incident Officer. In this capacity, you will oversee the establishment of a command structure and coordinate infrastructure and service restoration efforts. Additionally, we will expect you to perform a variety of operational support tasks, including performance monitoring, prioritizing based on weather conditions, conducting audits, managing engineering tasks, overseeing inventory orders, and monitoring vehicle status. This role offers numerous opportunities for career advancement, complemented by personalized mentorship.

Key Qualifications

  • Training as a Rail Incident Officer and Personal Track Safety certification
  • Ability to comprehend, apply, and adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
  • A valid driving license
  • Self-driven and assured
  • Highly organized with effective prioritization skills

This position may require working during days, nights, and weekends, and is classified as safety-critical, subject to drug and alcohol testing as well as passing the necessary medical evaluations.

If you are not currently serving as a Railway Operations Coordinator, you will receive support to transition into this role through a comprehensive training program.
