About the Role
As a Railway Maintenance Specialist at Network Rail, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our rail network. You will work outdoors in a team, supporting essential maintenance tasks to keep the railway running safely and efficiently for passengers and freight users.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team for safe and efficient work delivery.
- Deliver clear instructions to the team and other colleagues.
- Specialise in rail testing and have knowledge and experience of inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques.
- Consistently role model safe behaviours and arrange and implement safe systems of work.
- Develop your skills and competencies relevant to your discipline, keeping up to date with new standards, procedures, and instructions.
