This individual will work closely with the Business Architect to oversee and quality assure the blueprint, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Development: Lead the production of a detailed blueprint for elections and voter registration processes, incorporating information from legislation, guidance, and input from colleagues across the Directorate.
- Diagrammatic Representation: Draft the blueprint in diagrammatic form, utilizing appropriate software to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support consultation with the business sector and key stakeholders as part of this work, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
- Quality Assurance: Liaise regularly with the Business Architect, implementing feedback and ensuring the blueprint meets the required standards.
- Process Review and Revision: Support the production of target operating models and process maps for potential changes to the existing blueprint, taking into account the political objectives of the government and feedback from stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment: Impact-assess current and potential future processes, identifying, logging, and mitigating potential risks to electors, administrators, and suppliers.
- Working Independently: Proven ability to lead work, under their own initiative, while keeping their manager informed and taking on board feedback and decisions.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate clearly, both in written and verbal form, with a range of internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Elections: An understanding of elections and electoral registration, with the ability to broaden that knowledge using information and subject matter experts available.
- Engagement: Proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, understanding and addressing their interests and concerns.
- Business Analysis: Proven ability and experience in understanding and analyzing business processes, thinking logically and critically where necessary.
- Equality and Diversity: An understanding of equality, diversity, and accessibility in relation to business processes.
- IT: Ability to use appropriate software to produce the blueprint in diagrammatic form.
