About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Clinician to join our team at The Shires - Oakham. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of our therapy services, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and support to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of therapists and clinicians to deliver high-quality therapy services
  • Develop and implement therapy plans and programs to meet the needs of our pupils
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers and support staff, to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical governance framework and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our therapy services and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) or equivalent
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and developing therapy services
  • Experience of working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including those with complex needs and trauma
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
