Primary Care Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Stocken, a category C men's prison located near Oakham, Rutland, East Midlands. As a Clinical Lead, you will have the autonomy to shape the role and provide the highest standards of healthcare to our patients, without compromising on efficiency and quality.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, with a salary up to £53,307 per annum, depending on experience. You will work Monday to Friday, including some weekends and bank holidays, with flexible working hours and the possibility of compressed hours.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with partners to maintain a high-quality clinical service for patients
- Coach, line manage, and develop clinician staff
- Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners
- Deliver workshops to develop the team's learning in various areas, such as clinical processes, documentation, and patient care
- Be responsible for the rota and managing shortages and signing off agency nurses' hours
- Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course

Qualifications and Experience- Registered Nurse Adult
- Current professional qualification (NMC)
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
- Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
