Position Overview: The Director of Project Execution will be responsible for implementing and upholding industry best practices. This role focuses on fostering an environment where Project Managers can excel. The individual will supervise all aspects of Project Delivery across the organization and will be available to assist with project execution as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective governance and health standards are maintained in collaboration with the PMO function.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
  • Manage and mentor large teams of Project Managers, with a proven track record of talent development.
  • Exhibit strong skills in Resource and Budget Management, overseeing budgets exceeding £30m.
  • Oversee a diverse range of project and program workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Portfolio dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate effectively with the PMO to define processes and documentation, ensuring robust controls are in place.
  • Provide support to Project Managers as needed, stepping in to manage various project aspects when required.
  • Encourage open dialogue and challenge existing processes and procedures that do not meet established standards.
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership capabilities, influencing cross-departmental leaders towards common goals.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, acting as both a team-builder and a team player.
