About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Executive Officer to join our team at RequireTech Resources Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the company's strategic direction and ensuring its continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide inspired leadership to the company, acting as a coach to senior management and building a positive company culture.
  • Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy, developing and implementing operational policies and a strategic plan.
  • Provide direction, communicating and translating strategy into detailed one-year operational plans, clarifying responsibilities and expectations for the workforce.
  • Design the organisation structure and staffing for growth and profitability, developing the company's culture and overall vision of 'Quality First'.
  • Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale, developing company-wide communications for all staff.
  • Manage company performance, reviewing progress against plans and initiating corrective action as needed.
  • Conduct reviews of individual performance, confronting poor performance and managing change to overcome inertia and resistance.
  • Oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing, and report to the board of directors.
  • Work with senior stakeholders, developing relationships with key customers, prospects, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and the local community.
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
Requirements
  • Education to degree level in a technical subject (Imaging, Engineering, or Material Science) and an MBA.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management or a similar industry, with sales of technical equipment, export control, and experience in x-ray and detection technology.
  • A proven record as a team player with the ability to work independently and develop, motivate, and manage teams.
  • Experience in significant operations improvements and revenue growth, with a basic understanding of x-ray technology and imaging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, data analysis and presentation, and good IT skills and use of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership ability, strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, personal organisation, and the ability to work productively under tight timescales and pressure.
