Job Title: Recruitment Officer

Join Halliwell Homes as a Recruitment Officer and play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources and Recruitment team. This is a key position that requires collaboration with existing Recruitment Officers to oversee the recruitment process for the company's homes, schools, and head office.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the Recruitment Officers to manage the entire recruitment cycle process from start to end across all Halliwell sites.
  • Develop and amend job descriptions as needed, reviewing them with the Recruitment Coordinator and hiring managers.
  • Draft adverts and place them on online and internal job boards, building preferred supplier lists, shortlisting, interviewing, and managing offers.
  • Source high-calibre candidates through social media platforms and develop creative sourcing techniques to expand the talent pool.
  • Manage and coordinate selection and assessment processes, ensuring all resourcing processes meet legal requirements and are fair, fit, and inclusive.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure a smooth, timely, and cost-effective recruitment and selection process.
  • Support the recruitment pipeline by registering with local Careers Fairs and carrying out administrative duties in the recruitment process.
Requirements:
  • Good standard of GCSE (Level 4-9 English and Maths)
  • Holds a relevant degree or Diploma in HR or equivalent
  • Must hold or be willing to complete a CIPD Level 3 qualification
  • Experience of working in an HR commercial-based environment
  • Experience in Recruitment and background checks
  • Strong note-taking and typing skills
