Job Overview

Grosvenor Casinos Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Team Leader to join their team in Liverpool. As a key member of the Food and Beverage Team, you will be responsible for leading by example, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Food and Beverage Team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.
  • Ensure all departments are adequately resourced within required budgets.
  • Assist in the training and induction of new team members and support the development of existing team members.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in reviewing performance, monitoring through regular reviews and appraisals, and escalating any concerns to the Management Team.
  • Actively support the Management Team to promote new business and suggest new initiatives to achieve objectives.
  • Review your own performance at reviews and annual appraisal, highlighting areas for further training or support.
  • Be multi-skilled in other departments to ensure the business meets customer demands by operating to maximum efficiency.
Customer Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers have an exceptional level of service, value for money, and want to return to the Casino.

  • Be conversant with current promotions and products available to ensure the best customer experience.
  • Offer and provide a friendly, accurate, efficient, and prompt service of food and beverages, responding positively to all customer requests.
  • Have an awareness of daily, weekly, and monthly targets and ensure the Food and Beverage Team is working to achieve these.
  • Actively promote the customer reward scheme.
  • Uphold the company's commitment to the protection of young and vulnerable people, in accordance with the company's responsible gambling policy and procedures.
Shareholder Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for all handling of monies and electronic point of sale responsibilities.
  • Have the required level of Product Knowledge of our Food & Beverage Offers.
  • Have the required level of knowledge of all equipment within the Food and Beverage Department, reporting any faults to the Management Team.
  • Ensure the replenishment of all stock is complete, so that the customer always has the opportunity to access all available products.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, escalating any concerns to the Management Team.
  • Ensure the Department has accurately accounted for stocks, spillages, and wastages, managing work quality and controls, escalating any concerns to the Management Team.
  • Comply with all regulatory provisions in respect of sanitation and food safety, ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to and the agreed standard of housekeeping and presentation are maintained.
  • Promote an environment that encourages responsible drinking.
Qualifications
  • Passion to deliver exceptional Customer Service.
  • Working knowledge of food and beverages within a similar environment.
  • Leisure/Food and Beverage industry knowledge including legislation, best practice, current trends, etc.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Knowledge of Company training (Service That Sells, Perfect Serve, etc.).
Additional Information

Previous supervisor experience would be an advantage. Must be fully flexible. Free on-site car park. £12.15 per hour plus night-shift allowance and tips.
