Job Title: Senior Motor Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motor Control Systems Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and proving control algorithms for our motor control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop control algorithms for analogue and digital systems, focusing on the control of BLDC motors.
  2. Model complex systems and perform performance analysis of the selected control algorithm.
  3. Derive sub-system requirements for mechanical, electronics, and software components.
  4. Identify suitable electro-mechanical components, working closely with suppliers as needed.
  5. Define design proving plans, conduct testing, and analyze data to ensure system performance meets customer requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in designing and developing control algorithms for digital control systems.
  2. Proficiency in using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder for control algorithm development.
  3. Ability to model complex electronic and mechanical systems, including feedback sensors, motors, drivetrains, and drive electronics.
  4. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external design teams.
