Job Title: Senior Motor Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Motor Control Systems Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and proving control algorithms for digital control systems, ensuring that customer performance requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop control algorithms for analogue and digital systems, focusing on the control of BLDC motors.
  2. Model complex electronic and mechanical systems, including feedback sensors, motors, drivetrains, and drive electronics.
  3. Derive sub-system requirements for mechanical, electronics, and software components.
  4. Identify suitable electro-mechanical components and collaborate with suppliers as needed.
  5. Define design proving plans, conduct testing, and analyze data to ensure system performance.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in designing and developing control algorithms for digital control systems.
  2. Proficiency in using MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded Coder for control algorithm development.
  3. Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external design teams.
