Highly Specialist Systemic Family Therapist

MFT CAMHS is dedicated to delivering a range of systemic assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families. We are currently seeking experienced Senior Family and Systemic Psychotherapists to join our Salford or Trafford CAMHS locations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a clinical caseload, working directly with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental health challenges, often compounded by trauma, and who may be engaged with multiple agencies and services.
- Provide systemic psychotherapy independently at a specialist level.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and systemic assessments of children, young people, and families, including risk evaluation.
- Offer written and verbal systemic formulations to support evidence-based clinical interventions for children, young people, and families with complex issues.
- Implement a specific care package of specialized therapeutic interventions, utilizing a wide range of systemic models.
- Deliver expert one-on-one clinical consultations to other clinical staff regarding the application of Family Therapy and Systemic Psychotherapy, aiding in formulation and care planning, and collaborating with team members in the delivery of individual and group programs.
- Assist in the provision of guidance and consultancy to local teams and services of partner agencies, promoting the integration of informed systemic practice in their routine work with children, young people, and families.
- Engage in the supervision of newly qualified systemic psychotherapists and trainees.
