Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

In the capacity of Family Therapist, you will manage a clinical caseload, engaging with individuals facing significant and persistent mental health challenges, often exacerbated by trauma, and who may be involved with multiple agencies. Your primary duties will include:

  • Delivering systemic psychotherapy independently at a specialist level.
  • Conducting thorough psychological and systemic evaluations of children, adolescents, and families, including risk assessments.
  • Providing written and verbal systemic formulations to support evidence-based clinical interventions for complex cases.
  • Implementing tailored care packages of specialized therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of systemic models.
  • Offering expert clinical consultations to other healthcare professionals regarding Family Therapy and Systemic Psychotherapy, assisting in formulation and care planning.
  • Providing guidance and consultancy to local teams and partner agencies, promoting the integration of systemic practices in their work.
  • Supervising newly qualified systemic psychotherapists and trainees.
