Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Assistant to support our busy period at Search. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in HR and work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with employees and the HR team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel-related data on HR systems, ensuring compliance with employment requirements.
  • Liaise with other departments to facilitate new starters, leavers, and other HR-related activities.
  • Produce regular reports on HR activity, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the HR Officer in preparing accurate and detailed HR reports.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all aspects.
  • Perform ad-hoc audits of personnel files and HR systems.
  • Complete pre-employment checks, including employment references and background checks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and activities successfully.
  • A flexible approach with a positive attitude, drive, and appetite for change in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Proven technical experience as an HR administrator or Co-ordinator, with a relevant human resources qualification (or studying towards CIPD accreditation, level 3).
  • Strong understanding of HR onboarding processes and demonstrable experience.
  • Proficient in using MS Office and HR systems.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Confident and credible, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work independently and under pressure to achieve deadlines.
